ChordPad Mobile App - Privacy Policy

ChordPad (“the App”) is owned and operated by Cattywampus Designs LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).
This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, stored, and protected when users access or use the ChordPad mobile application.
ChordPad is a mobile application designed to help guitar players, educators, songwriters, and
musicians create, organize, and export guitar chord diagrams using their mobile devices.
By using ChordPad, users agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

ChordPad is designed with a privacy-conscious approach and intentionally limits the amount of personal information collected. The information we may collect includes:

4. User-Created Content
ChordPad allows users to create, organize, edit, and export guitar chord diagrams and related
notes.
At this stage of development, user-created chord diagrams, notes, and related project data are
primarily stored locally on the user’s device unless otherwise stated in future updates.
Users are solely responsible for:
• The content they create
• The content they export or distribute
• Any copyrighted materials incorporated into their work
• Ensuring that their use of the platform complies with applicable laws
The Company does not actively monitor user-created content.
5. Copyright and Intellectual Property
ChordPad is intended as a creative and educational tool.
Users are solely responsible for ensuring that any materials created, uploaded, exported,
distributed, or shared using the App comply with all applicable copyright laws, intellectual
property laws, licensing agreements, and usage permissions.
Users agree not to use ChordPad to knowingly infringe upon:
• Copyrights
• Trademarks
• Intellectual property rights
• Proprietary music arrangements
• Licensed content owned by third parties
Cattywampus Designs LLC does not claim ownership over user-created content.
The Company is not responsible for copyrighted materials created, exported, distributed, or shared by users without proper authorization.
The Company reserves the right to remove content or restrict access where required by law or
where misuse is suspected.
6. In-App Purchases and Premium Features
ChordPad may offer optional premium features, expanded functionality, or additional diagram
pads through future in-app purchases.
Payments and purchase transactions are processed through third-party marketplace providers such as:
• Google Play
• Apple App Store
The Company does not directly process or store users’ payment card information.
Users acknowledge that payment processing is governed by the policies and terms of the applicable app marketplace provider.

We take commercially reasonable measures to protect user information and maintain appropriate administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards.
